mighty Harecastle tunnel may be on your route and close to the canal
you will find attractions such as Alton Towers,
the famous Wedgwood factory and the Festival Park.
Marine
Cruises are proud to be able to
offer their customers the opportunity to cruise from this spectacular
base at The Falkirk Wheel. Opened by the Queen in 2002, this magnificent
feat of engineering has once again linked Scotland's Forth & Clyde Canal to the
Union Canal, Glasgow to Edinburgh.
Our
Chirk Marina base
is at the heart of the famously spectacular Llangollen Canal and
convenient for the recently restored section of the Montgomery Canal.
Our canal boat hire fleets have
narrowboats which
range in size from 2 berth to 10 berth and are available from March
to October.
All our boats have
been awarded
4 stars for quality
by the English
Tourism Council.
Our
canal hire boats are well equipped and come with every item you
will need to make your holiday run smoothly. All boats have a
bathroom with shower, a galley complete with full size cooker and
6'3" by 4' double beds.
